Regular Cleaning and Inspection

Regular cleaning and inspection are crucial in preventing dirt buildup, identifying any potential issues, and ensuring smooth operation. Use a mild detergent and soft cloth to clean the surfaces of the chair, paying attention to hinges, moving parts, and mechanisms. Regularly inspect the chair for loose screws, damaged components, or signs of wear and tear that may impact its functionality.

Storage and Handling

Proper storage and handling are key factors in preserving the condition of your Raizer lifting chair. Store the chair in a dry and well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup and corrosion. Avoid placing heavy objects on top and handle them with care to prevent accidental damage. When not in use, ensure the chair is in a secure and upright position, and utilize our carry cases for safe transportation!

Routine Battery Care

If you have a battery-operated model, proper care is essential for ensuring uninterrupted functionality. Regularly check the battery for signs of corrosion, leaks, or damage, and replace it as needed to maintain a consistent power supply.

Tips to avoid breakage

Every now and then a hand crank will break due to improper usage. Hand crank breakage can occur from a few things:
  1. User is not inserting the crank fully into the unit before turning the handle.
  2. User is cranking the unit past the height limit.
  3. User is not bringing the chair back to the floor position before disassembly.
To avoid breakage:
  1. Always make sure the tip is inserted into the unit and is "flush" inside.
  2. If you ever feel resistance of the crank, stop cranking, pull out the crank, and reinsert. The crank should rotate smoothly with no resistance.
  3. Do not crank the chair too far upright, or too far back to the floor position. (Please see manual/quick guide for proper lifting height and back to horizontal position.)
  4. Make sure you are turning the crank in the correct direction. Please see manual for correct direction for lifting up and then back to floor position before disassembling.
  5. Always bring the unit back into the floor position according to the manual. If the chair is disassembled while NOT in the floor position, it will cause the alignment of the seat to slowly get thrown off and therefore, the unit crank will not fit and/or break as it's not in the proper alignment.
